Doctor Rao is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology, and has been a member of the International Society of Dermoscopy for over 20 years. Doctor Rao is a globally renowned expert on reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM). In addition to his significant clinical research, publications and presentations related to RCM, Dr. Rao has pioneered the integration of RCM into the clinic at his private practice and at the Department of Dermatology at Rutgers. Doctor Rao has presented numerous lectures featuring the use or RCM, Dermoscopy, and Pathology in a clinical setting for dermatologists and medical practitioners. His commitment to educate others in confocal microscopy, including establishing a confocal fellowship, has made Doctor Rao an internationally recognized leader in the field.
