Der Künstler
Dan Kollmann wurde 1971 in Zerbst geboren. Der passionierte Hobbyfotograf entdeckte seine Leidenschaft in den 80er Jahren, als er als Schüler einem Fotoclub beitrat.
Als mit dem Einstieg in das Berufsleben die Zeit knapp wurde, musste er sein Hobby und die damals noch aufwändigen Arbeiten in der Dunkelkammer stark vernachlässigen. Erst als die digitale Fotografie aufkam, entdeckte er seine alte Liebe zur Fotografie neu.

Er veröffentlichte bereits zahlreiche Fotografien in Zeitungen und Zeitschriften. Ebenso wird seit 2010 jährlich ein Kalender mit seinen Werken erstellt.
Oftmals versucht er die besonderen und kleinen Dinge des Lebens zu zeigen, die man sonst leicht im Alltag übersieht und ignoriert. Deshalb möchte er sie mit seiner Kamera festhalten.
